The Worcester District Medical Society (WDMS) is a not-for-profit organization representing over 2,400 physician members and medical students in central Massachusetts. WDMS is dedicated to enhancing the health of the local community through science, quality, and ethics in the practice of medicine. The organization also manages the Worcester Medical Library, which was founded in 1798 and is now housed at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, providing resources on the history of medicine.
