Question 1

What are the company's professional missions for periodontics and dental implants?

Accepted Answer

The company's professional mission for periodontics is to provide comprehensive, patient-driven treatments that primarily create value for patients through the continuous introduction of non-surgical therapies as a way of professional life, with a commitment that surgical periodontal therapy should not be done until all non-surgical avenues have been exhausted. For dental implants, the mission is to provide diagnostic, consultative, and surgical dental implant services where implant predictability and the patient's care and satisfaction are of paramount importance.

Question 2

What are the enhanced and super-enhanced non-surgical gum treatments offered by Dr. Valentine?

Accepted Answer

Dr. Valentine has created the concept of "super-enhanced non-surgical root planing," where he has supplemented existing antibiotic-enhanced non-surgical concepts. This enhanced and super-enhanced non-surgical periodontal therapy consists of root planing, always done with a local anesthetic to get the best results, which is then enhanced with one or two antibiotics taken orally. Even though this is non-surgical therapy, the gums are detached from the teeth due to the gum disease.

Question 3

What are some of the topics covered on the company's website?

Accepted Answer

The company's website covers a wide range of topics, including directions on how to schedule office hours, information about the staff, details on dental insurance and insufficiency programs, updates on new products, published articles, and information on various dental conditions such as periodontitis, gum recession, dental implants, gummy smiles, the relationship between gum disease and heart disease, premature births, and diabetes, as well as the connection between bad breath and gum disease, and the effects of smoking on gum disease.
