Northern Moraine

The Northern Moraine Wastewater Reclamation District (NMWRD) is a sanitary sewer and wastewater treatment provider serving over 15,000 people in Lakemoor, Port Barrington, Island Lake, and Holiday Hills, Illinois. Established in 1978, the district operates a 36-acre water resource recovery facility with a capacity of 2 million gallons per day, maintaining 24 pump stations and 80 miles of sewer mains.
