Community Empowerment Fund - Durham

The Community Empowerment Fund (CEF) is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 and based in Durham, North Carolina. CEF works to end the racial wealth gap by providing person-centered support, advocacy, and financial services to help its members reach their employment, housing, and financial goals. The organization recognizes the detrimental impacts of systemic racism on Black and Brown communities and values the leadership of those with lived experiences of homelessness and poverty.
