Yankee Fork Gold Dredge

The Yankee Fork Gold Dredge is located in Stanley, ID, United States. It was established in 1940 when the Silas Mason Company from New York decided to invest in dredging for gold in the Yankee Fork valley, which was estimated to contain $11 million worth of gold. The dredge was built by Bucyrus Erie and all materials were transported from Milwaukee by railway and then by truck to the construction site.
