St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Cathedral

The St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Cathedral is a parish of the Malankara Orthodox Church of India, located in Bellwood, Illinois, United States. The church was organized in 1994 under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Daniel George, and the first divine liturgy was celebrated in 1994 by His Grace Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios, the senior metropolitan of the Malankara Orthodox Church in America. The present church building was purchased in 2000 and consecrated in the same year, dedicated to continuing the mission of Jesus Christ.
