Sitka Performing Arts Center

The Sitka School District is a K-12 public school district located in Sitka, Alaska, serving approximately 1,130 students. Sitka, with a population of around 9,000, is one of the top five largest cities in Alaska and is known for its picturesque setting on Baranof Island, facing the Gulf of Alaska. The district's mission is to intentionally develop "haa latseení" (our strength of mind, body, and spirit) to inspire and prepare students to be compassionate, empowered, and equipped critical thinkers within a global community.
