Rinzai Zen Mission

The Paia Rinzai Zen Buddhist Mission is a Buddhist temple located in Paia, Hawaii. Established in 1932 by a Rinzai priest from Okinawa, it is the only Rinzai Zen temple from the immigration era in the United States and served the Okinawan community on Maui. The temple offers a place of peace and harmony for visitors.
