Dakota Gasification Company

The company is a subsidiary of Basin Electric Power Cooperative, located in Beulah, North Dakota. It owns and operates the Great Plains Synfuels Plant, the only commercial-scale coal gasification facility in the United States that produces natural gas. The company provides a range of chemicals, fuels, and pipeline and liquefied gases products, including ammonia, urea, and liquid carbon dioxide.
