Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project

The Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project (MVLP) is a non-profit organization that provides equal access to justice for Mississippians of limited means through high-quality pro bono legal assistance. In 2023, MVLP impacted 3,048 people, opened 874 cases, held 37 clinics, and donated over 3,000 volunteer hours, helping individuals with courtroom representation, self-representation, and referrals to other suitable programs.
