Mount Cristo Rey

The Mt. Cristo Rey Restoration Committee is a non-profit organization that oversees the management and maintenance of the 29-foot limestone statue of Christ atop the Sierra de Cristo Rey mountain in Sunland Park, New Mexico. The statue, dedicated in 1940, was the vision of a local parish priest and has become a significant shrine for the faithful in the El Paso and southern New Mexico region.
