The MTConnect Institute is a standards organization based in the United States that develops and maintains the MTConnect standard, a domain-specific semantic vocabulary for manufacturing equipment. The MTConnect standard is used to provide structured, contextualized data from over 250,000 devices in more than 50 countries, enabling efficient operations, improved production optimization, and increased productivity for developers and system integrators.
