International Karate League

The International Karate League (IKL) is a traditional karate organization founded in 1958 by Walter K. Nishioka in Honolulu, Hawaii. The IKL is a 501(c)3 non-profit that teaches a modified version of Shorin-ryu karate, with a focus on self-control, humbleness, and discipline. The organization has six regions spanning several states, including Hawaii, California, Nevada, and North Carolina.
