Folklore Society of Greater Washington

The Folklore Society of Greater Washington (FSGW) is a non-profit organization established in 1964 to promote the understanding, investigation, and appreciation of folk arts in the DMV area. FSGW accomplishes this by organizing annual events such as participatory and performance dances, singing, concerts, and storytelling, as well as providing financial and marketing support to local programs and advertising events for the public.
