Question 1

What products does the company offer?

Accepted Answer

The company offers a range of products for residential new construction and aftermarket applications, including wired and wireless zone controls, 2-zone comfort controls, whole house fan controls, direct damper controls, and fresh air controls.

Question 2

How do the 2-zone comfort controls work?

Accepted Answer

The 2-zone comfort controls automatically control the distribution of heating and cooling to provide a balanced, uniformly comfortable home. They eliminate the need for installing bypass, a discharge air temperature sensor, a separate 24VAC transformer, a zone panel, and an upstairs thermostat, and require only one HERS test.

Question 3

What are the benefits of the 2-zone comfort controls?

Accepted Answer

The 2-zone comfort controls provide the same comfort as zoning but at a much lower cost and easier installation. They work with any 24VAC thermostat, including smart and OEM thermostats, and require only one thermostat to control the entire system.

Question 4

What is the difference between the 2-zone comfort controls for residential new construction and aftermarket?

Accepted Answer

The model ZCDWLR 2-zone automatic comfort control is for residential new construction, while the model ZCDWLB 2-zone wireless automatic comfort control is for the aftermarket. The aftermarket model eliminates the need for wiring, as it works with existing 24VAC thermostats.

Question 5

What are the company's capabilities and accomplishments?

Accepted Answer

The company has been manufacturing controls since 1998 and has a range of capabilities, including solutions for residential new construction and aftermarket applications. The company's accomplishments include providing a balanced, uniformly comfortable home through their 2-zone comfort controls and other innovative products.
