Community Action for Affordable Homes (CAAB) was a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families in the Washington, D.C. region achieve financial stability and economic mobility. Over the past 25 years, CAAB distributed over $13.2 million through its various programs, directly impacting the lives of 1,000 beneficiaries and assisting more than 3,100 individuals and families. Regrettably, CAAB has announced the cessation of its program operations by the end of 2024, citing careful consideration by its board of directors.
