Byram Police Department

The Byram Police Department was established in 2010 and officially assumed law enforcement duties in 2011. The department is located in Byram, Mississippi, United States and is authorized 31 sworn police officers, as well as dispatchers and civilian administrative staff. The department is accredited by the Mississippi Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission and the National Commission for the Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), and its mission is to work in partnership with the community to enforce laws, preserve the peace, and provide a safe environment with integrity, dedication, and honor.
