Question 1

What does the Bossier Church of Christ believe?

Accepted Answer

The Bossier Church of Christ believes that the Bible is the inspired word of God and that they should follow it as their only authority in their faith. They strive to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent. They accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and respect His authority, and they have no denominational name or practices.

Question 2

What is the church's approach to worship and praise?

Accepted Answer

The Bossier Church of Christ believes in worshiping and praising God according to the simple instructions of Jesus. They have no conferences, synods, councils, or earthly headquarters, as they believe these man-made systems can compete with Christ's authority and bind human traditions upon others.

Question 3

What is the church's understanding of salvation?

Accepted Answer

The Bossier Church of Christ believes that salvation can be divided into two parts: God's offer and a person's response. God's offer is grace, which is a gift that cannot be earned through works. The love of God led Him to send Christ into the world to redeem mankind, and those who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
