Blackfeet Eagle Shield's Center

The Blackfeet Nation is an American Indian tribe located in Browning, Montana. Established by treaty in 1855, the Blackfeet Reservation is home to over 17,000 members, making it one of the largest tribes in the United States. The tribe's water rights and authority over its water resources were recently confirmed through the Blackfeet Water Compact, enabling the tribe to develop a sustainable economy.
