Question 1

What services does the company provide?

Accepted Answer

The company provides a wide range of high-quality and affordable construction site services, including concrete, asphalt, excavation, earthwork, grading, underground utilities, maintenance, asphalt repairs, asphalt crack seals, sealcoating, ultra-thin bonded wearing courses, striping and parking lot lines, snow removal, hauling and transport, and landscaping.

Question 2

What is the company's focus on quality and affordability?

Accepted Answer

The company prides itself on providing high-quality and affordable construction services. They use precise mixing of aggregates, rapid delivery to ensure proper curing, and delicate application techniques to achieve durable finishes. Their goal is to offer total site construction services that are both high-quality and affordable to customers in the Twin Falls area.

Question 3

What is the importance of proper earthwork and grading?

Accepted Answer

Earthwork, which consists of excavations and embankments, is crucial for ensuring the pavement remains smooth and stable for many years of service. The foundation must provide suitable support, as a lack of stable earthwork can lead to roughness and distress in the pavement over time.

Question 4

What are the considerations for concrete finishes?

Accepted Answer

Not all concrete flatwork is created equal, and different finishing techniques can produce varying results. Smoother finishes are better suited for indoor use, as smooth concrete can be slippery when wet. Brush-textured concrete is recommended for exterior flatwork to provide better traction.

Question 5

How does the company approach paving and overlays?

Accepted Answer

When paving on grade, the company places new asphalt on a finished sub-grade or a stabilized base. This ensures the pavement remains smooth and stable, providing long-lasting performance for the customer.
