American Human Rights Council

The American Human Rights Council (AHRC) is a non-profit organization based in Dearborn, Michigan, United States. AHRC is dedicated to defending and protecting human rights as outlined in the U.S. Constitution and the United Nations' 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The organization advocates for individuals whose rights are being violated or denied, and it has been granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), which enables it to actively engage with ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies.
